The Coachella Valley Community Recreation Foundation is pleased to announce that it has a new name, the Desert Recreation Foundation with a new logo and exciting program changes
Our mission is to raise funds to enhance, preserve, promote and expand the Desert Recreation District’s park and recreation system to enrich the quality of life for Coachella Valley residents and preserve it for future generations.

The Desert Recreation Foundation is an independent 501(3)c non-profit organization that provides the following services:
- Generates funds through corporate and individual gifts and grants to support and facilitate efforts to improve recreational activities, programs, parks and properties and facilities
- Leads the fundraising effort to support the Desert Recreation Scholarship Funds which assists residents that qualify with program and facility fees
- Assists with the acquisition of new park lands either via fundraising or donation
- Purchases equipment and other amenities for the District’s parks and facilities
